OFFICIAL AUSTRALIAN PROCUREMENT SOURCES

Australian tender portals for Commonwealth, state and territory governments

Looking for Australian tenders or open government contracts? Start with the official buyer source. There is no single public database containing every Commonwealth, state, territory, local-government, selective and invited opportunity.

Start with the correct official procurement source

AusTender is the Australian Government’s central procurement information system. It publishes Commonwealth approaches to market, annual procurement plans and awarded contract information. State and territory opportunities are published through their own official systems.

TenderCue provides a free search of a bounded current AusTender public feed and links to official Commonwealth, state and territory portals. Search results are a discovery aid—not a replacement for the live official notice, complete tender pack or later amendments.

Build a repeatable Australian tender search routine

  1. Register only on official portals relevant to your locations, categories and customer base.
  2. Create focused alerts using service, product, industry and location terms—not just broad words such as “consulting”.
  3. Check amendments, addenda, briefings and the live closing time on the issuing portal.
  4. Record a clear bid/no-bid decision before committing response time.
  5. Keep evidence such as licences, insurance, policies and project references current.

For Commonwealth supplier guidance, use the Department of Finance’s Selling to Government service ↗. TenderCue is independent and is not affiliated with the Australian Government.

How this directory is maintained

TenderCue lists the public procurement services for the Commonwealth, states and territories and links to official alert guidance where available. The directory is compiled from government domains. Portal names, coverage and notification features can change; report a broken or changed official link through the TenderCue contact page.

What TenderCue can and cannot do

TenderCue can organise public listings, match keywords, extract apparent mandatory conditions and build a response checklist. It cannot reveal invited opportunities, prove eligibility, replace the full tender pack or submit a response for you.
